During this unit students study cells and how the structure and function of cell processes contribute to life processes of organisms or how they function as single organisms.
CELLS AND CELL PROCESSES

Students gain an understanding of the human body and how balance within systems may be disrupted by disease or changes in environmental conditions.
HUMAN BODY SYSTEMS AND HOMEOSTASIS

Basic information about the interactions between living and nonliving parts of the environment. Students also learn about human impact on the systems within the environment.

During this unit students will study the effect of the molecular genetics and analysis of DNA.

Students study how organisms produce new organisms which are genetically like themselves. Asexual and Sexual reproduction and the transmission of traits are studied.
